ACN Inc- Is it a Scam or Not

ACN Inc- Is it a Scam or Not

If you are looking to become apart of ACN Inc, or just curious about all the rumors, I am here to set the record straight. Let’s go review all the facts to see why some people think that ACN is a scam and whether or not they are correct.

What is ACN?

ACN is a direct sales company that was established by Greg Provenzano, Robert Stevanovski, Tony Cupisz and Mike Cupisz in 1993. These entrepreneurs began by reselling long distance phone services. Today, they are in 24 different countries and have become the world’s largest direct seller of telecommunications, energy, and essential home services.

What are they Selling?

If you are wondering what essential home services are, an example would be things like gas, electricity, and home security. ACN products also include cell phone plans, television channel plans, home recruiting, local long distance calling, internet plans, etc.

Is ACN a Pyramid Scheme?

Unfortunately, one of the biggest misconceptions about MLM companies is that they are the same as a pyramid scheme. Although the business structures of the two may seem similar on the outside, there are crucial differences. The biggest problem with pyramid schemes, and also why it is illegal, is that they take advantage of people. They get people to join by paying a fee, but they don’t actually offer any products or services. They profit completely from recruiting more people and taking their money. MLM’s are the opposite, they are interested in offering their services and gaining customers. A good way to tell the difference between an MLM and a pyramid scheme is that you can buy products from an MLM without joining their company. So, long answer short, ACN is NOT a pyramid scheme.

What does it mean to Join ACN?

Joining ACN would require you to sell to others the services that ACN provides. When it comes to MLMs, you make money according to the amount of people you recruit. How it works is you make commissions on everything that the people under you purchase. That’s why MLMs can be a massive money haul, because if you sign up 40 people, then you will receive commission on all the products or services those 40 people purchase. This is exactly how ACN works, you have to have 2 people under you in order to make money. Now, this can be a lot harder than it sounds, especially if the person doesn’t have strong communication skills or gets discouraged easily. If you are thinking about joining an MLM, it is important to understand what is necessary for you to be successful. Like I mentioned, it is going to take effort and commitment. So, yes, it is definitely possible to make a lot of money in an MLM.

Why do they have a bad rap?

So far, we discovered that ACN is a legitimate company, they are not a pyramid scheme, and people can make a lot of money with them. So, why the bad rap? There are people who have tried MLM companies and have not been successful. Like most jobs, if a person isn’t putting in the time and effort, they aren’t going to get anything out of it. So, while there are plenty of people who joined ACN and made loads of money, there are those who haven’t. There are people who buy into the idea of fast money. While getting wealthy quickly is possible, it’s not always the outcome. It might be that they didn’t put enough effort into it, or that they didn’t get the training they needed. Whatever the cause may be, this is usually the main reason why people claim network marketing companies like ACN are a “scam.”

ACN Inc-Scam or not?

After researching and analyzing the information, it’s obvious that ACN is NOT a scam, but rather a very successful business. Not only that, the ACN has an accredited “A” rating with the Better Business Bureau. There is no way to manipulate or purchase a rating from the BBB, they are the premier regulatory authority for customers with complaints against companies. So their accreditation is indisputable.
