Swiss Civil Construction Company Finds Resolution for Quantity Disputes

A large civil construction company based in Lenk, Switzerland by the name of Banholzer Bau AG was looking for a solution to solve potential quantity disputes they might expect when deliveries were to be made to its disposal site.

Having spent close to ten years applying to local authorities in the pursuit of resource and environmental consent for their clean fill site, Banholzer always knew that they would need a Loadscan load volume scanner for when that consent finally arrived.

They would need to be able to track numbers and report the volume of each load to enable them to put an end to weight disputes before they even start.

Their MD, Bruno Kohler has since come out and stated how he has been impressed with how the Loadscan LVS has dramatically improved efficiency and accuracy at their site. “The first thing that impressed was how easy to use the Loadscan LVS was but more joy was to come as we saw how this system allows each truck to have a shorter stop and that the accuracy meant that there were never any quarrels when deliveries came to our disposal site.”

To further improve efficiency and productivity, Banholzer also added the MyScanner web portal that gives users the ability to access the scanner remotely and view any data and receive support no matter where they are in the world.

The Impressive Features of MyScanner:

  • Accessible anywhere you have an internet connection.

  • Real-time load data can be viewed.

  • Any scan data can be exported in a number of different formats, allowing users to get in-depth overviews whenever they need.

  • Support offered 24/7 and online resources such as user documentation and FAQ’s available from within the MyScanner web portal.
